Nest Health Hub is a client-centred organisation that offers occupational therapy to young people, including children and teenagers. Our occupational therapists are trained to support children and teenagers in areas such as anxiety, traumas, sleep difficulties, behavioural difficulties, sensory processing, and many other issues. As such, we strive to empower young people with the confidence and ease they need to go about their daily lives.
People's mental health and behavioural problems can impact their lives in a big way. These difficulties can become even more complicated for young people and teenagers who already have to deal with life changes. Our occupational therapists know what it means to be young and can work closely with you to provide support when needed.

Rhiannon Pilgrim is part of our occupational therapy team as our Clinic's Director. She's extremely proud of her work for children, ensuring they have the same opportunities to live an enjoyable and fulfilled life. Rhiannon is particularly keen on play therapy. It supports children to feel safe, have fun during their time, and develop new skills.
Our occupational therapy team also includes Claire Bathgate and Bronwen Mikallef, along with Ally Schmidt. Our team collaborates with parents and families to support youngsters and teens. We assist in enriching the lives of children by engaging them in meaningful ways.
The team of health professionals are committed to establishing the foundations of children's lives. They assist children and adolescents build enthusiasm, self-esteem, social abilities, and overall well-being.

Rhiannon prides herself on her advocacy for children and providing them with the same opportunities to live their lives healthily and take part in daily activities. Rhiannon is particularly keen on play therapy. This supports children to feel safe, have fun during their time, and develop new skills.

Our Approach
We are different from other healthcare providers. You’ll notice this on your first appointment at the Nest Healthcare Hub. We see each client as an individual and choose the therapy that’s most practical for them. Instead of focusing solely on individual behaviours or challenges, we emphasise the brain's development and the underlying causes of behavioural difficulties.
Our occupational therapists use an individual-centred evaluation method to understand your child's developmental needs. Your child's ability and potential to cope with daily challenges will be assessed by an occupational therapist.
Your occupational therapist will work with you to develop an intervention plan tailored to your child's needs.
The Nest Psychologist will work closely with our team to develop a holistic treatment plan. This holistic approach allows our team a better understanding of your child's development and supports us gain a better grasp of their progress.
We Can Help With
Nest Health Hub's team can assist you if you are unsure if your child may benefit from working with an occupational therapist. Occupational therapy might be beneficial for adolescents and children who have difficulty with sensory processing. This could include oversensitivity to touch or taste, sounds, and other sensory issues.
