Georgia Guthrey
Psychologist
Georgia is a registered psychologist who is passionate about improving the lives of the individuals and families whom she works with. Georgia uses a holistic, relational and client-centred approach to support her clients to foster greater well-being and more meaningful relationships.
Georgia currently works across the lifespan providing psychological intervention to children, adolescents, families and adults. She is experienced in working with a wide range of difficulties and mental health concerns, including mood disorders, trauma and stress, attachment challenges and behavioural concerns. Georgia aims to provide and build a safe, supportive and collaborative environment with her clients to identify and reach their goals while incorporating suited evidence-based interventions.
Georgia’s training includes Complex Trauma certification (CCTP-I/CCTP-II), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the utilisation of ‘The Attachment, Regulation and Competency Framework’ (ARC). Georgia is also a trained facilitator of 123 Magic and Circle of Security. She values working in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
Georgia is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is able to provide services through NDIS, Medicare, third-party and private funding.
