Isabella Gillemore Occupational Therapist

Isabella Gallimore

Occupational Therapist

Isabella (or Izzi, is what we call her!) completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle, NSW in 2020. Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, Izzi gained experience working as an Allied Health Assistant with children & adults experiencing a range of disabilities. Since graduating, Izzi has found an even stronger interest in paediatrics & mental health & has worked within private practice with the wonderful opportunity to support clients with sensory processing disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD & anxiety. Izzi has a passion for working with children & has relevant experience providing therapeutic interventions for children with a variety of challenges.

Izzi is aware that there is not a singular approach to treating all individuals & aims to support children & families to reach their goals by providing an enjoyable & friendly environment. Izzi enjoys using play based therapy in fun & engaging ways to help children build safety & regulation to support overall learning & development. Izzi believes that in order to achieve desired outcomes, building relationships & working collaboratively with families is key.

When Izzi isn’t working, you will find her moving her body; water skiing, at the gym or at the beach. Izzi also enjoys spending time with her family & friends & also having weekends away.
