Nest Health Hub provides occupational therapy for young people. People's mental and behavioural issues can have a significant impact on their lives. These problems can be even more problematic for teenagers or young people who are already dealing with life changes.
A child who has difficulty performing daily tasks can see an occupational therapist. No matter what reason they come to us, we treat them as individuals. We work closely with their Nest psychologist to provide the best approach to their well-being.
Meet The Team
Our Director, Rhiannon Pilgrim is part of our occupational therapy crew. Rhiannon prides herself on her advocacy for children and giving them equal opportunities to lead their lives healthily and take part in everyday activities. She’s particularly keen on play therapy. It supports children to feel secure, enjoys their time, and develop new skills.
Our occupational therapy unit includes Claire Bathgate and Bronwen Mikallef and Ally Schmidt. Our team works with parents and their families to support children and young adults. We assist in enriching the lives of children by encouraging meaningful engagement.
The team of health professionals is dedicated to providing foundations for young people in their everyday lives. They assist children and adolescents develop confidence, self-esteem, social skills, and overall well-being.

Rhiannon is proud of her work for children, ensuring that they have the chance to live a happy life and be involved in regular activities. Rhiannon is especially interested in play therapy. This supports children to feel safe, feel comfortable, enjoy themselves and acquire new skills.

Claire supports kids and their families in finding creative ways for children to fulfil their potential. She’s dedicated to supporting children to regulate and develop an authentic connection with their environment. She also loves having fun!

Bron has a deep empathy for children and their behaviours through the evidence-based approach. It is rooted in her understanding of neurobiology as well as attachment theory. She also understands sensory processing and the effects of negative experiences in the early years on the brain.

Nest Health Hub provides a variety of allied healthcare support services for your family. These include occupational therapy, psychological, access speech therapy, and physiotherapy. All NDIS participants and their families are encouraged to reach out to our caring, compassionate team.
