Nest Heath Hub is an organisation that offers occupational therapy for young people. Mental health and behavioural issues can have a significant impact on people's daily lives. We’re here to support children and young adults who have already experienced major life changes.

An occupational therapist may be a good option if your child struggles with everyday tasks. We treat your child as an individual and work closely with your Nest psychologist so that they have the best experience.

Rhiannon Pilgrim, the Director of our occupational therapy program, is a member of our occupational therapy team. It gives children a sense of security, allows them to have fun, and allows them to learn new skills.

Claire Bathgate, Bronwen Miallef and Ally Schmidt are part of our occupational therapy team. Our goal is to enrich children's lives by encouraging meaningful engagement.

Our Approach

At Nest Health Hub, our approach is different from the moment you meet us. We focus on the changing needs of the brain and use a client-centred approach to understand your child's growth and response to daily demands. Our occupational therapists develop personalised intervention plans for each child based on their unique profile, working closely with the Nest Psychologist for a holistic approach to treatment.

Nest Health Hub has the experience to support you assess whether your child is a suitable candidate for occupational Therapy. Children and teens with sensory processing disorders can benefit from occupational therapy. It can assist children with difficulties in fine motor skills or children who reach age-appropriate developmental milestones. crawling and walking
